Fuzile Ntshona:

Fuzile Ntshona was born on 1st December 1975, the son of Thenjiwe and Mbuzeli Ntshona. Fuzile is the second born of three siblings; he has one brother and one sister.
He was born in the small town called Alice, in the Eastern Cape. This small town is fortunate for there is a University, which is a well known university in Southern Africa, the University of Fort Hare. In this small town there is also a well known college, Lovedale College.
Fuzile attended Ntselamanzi Primary school from grade 1 to grade 4 then changed and went to Lovedale Higher Primary and did grades 5 to 7. Fuzile played soccer in both primary schools; he also played boxing, cricket and also sung in the school choir.
After grade 7 in 1990 he went to Jabavu High School and there he studied until he finished his 'matric' (which is known as grade 12) in 1995. He was very much involved in soccer there and he also sung in the choir. He became a member of SRC (school representative council) from grade 10 to 12.
He studied under Bantu education which oppressed Black people in South Africa. He was also involved in CoSAS (Congress of South African Students) which wanted to take away Bantu Education.
After grade 12 Fuzile had to stay at home in 1996 because of financial problems, so it was in 1997 when he started to study in Kwanobuhle Technical College, which is in Uitenhage.
He did a business management course from 1997-1998.
In 1999 he attended lectures in MSC college, doing a computer literacy diploma.
In 2000-2002 he got a job in Johannesburg working in a hotel.
In 2003 Fuzile went back to the University of Fort Hare to study theology.
In 2005 he became the chairperson of the theological students society and was also involved in counselling the former MK soldiers.
He finished his degree in 2005 and in 2006 he went to the University of Pretoria to study B.A. (Hons.) in Practical Theology.
Fuzile has been involved in church affairs since he was young. He became a Sunday School teacher in 1998, and also led youth activities in 1998-1999. He became secretary of the young men's guild in his local congregation.
He is currently finishing his Honours degree in the University of Pretoria and he is eligible for a probation next year.
